We recently completed an office fit out at No.1 The Plaza, Admiral Park for Insurance Corporation Channel Islands.
As main contractor, we worked closely with C8, the mechanical and electrical contractors, and Studio 4 Architecture.
An important part of the brief for the client was programme. With the relocation from their previous offices set for the start of 2024, early planning was essential. Working closely with the UK design team, we were able to ensure timely procurement of the necessary materials to meet the company’s particular brand and finishes to replicate their other offices.
Acoustics were another important feature, which required a lot of work above and below the partitions to soundproof all mechanical and electrical penetrations. The meeting rooms were finished with acoustic feature wall panelling, along with ceiling mounted feature baffles.
Close liaison with neighbouring tenants was required, as the ventilation systems had to be fully relocated within the building. This required works to be carried out on each floor in order to route these from the ground floor to the roof plant area.
The team is delighted to have completed this project on time and to a high standard.
